Bruce Severin, the owner/ manager, has been involved in the Feedlotting Industry since 1990. From working on the family cropping, cattle and sheep farm he used bits and pieces from around the farm to build his feedlot. Due to the usual financial constraints much of his initial machinery was old, needed modification and frequently broke down needing repairs – usually at inconvenient hours. So Bruce knows intimately all sorts and brands of feedlot machinery and equipment having pulled them to pieces and put them back together too many times to remember.
In 2001 we imported our first piece of new machinery from America. The Dealer recognized Bruce’s vast knowledge and skills, asked him to be the Australian Dealer, then introduced him to other manufacturers who also invited Bruce to join their team. Since then our list of Suppliers and contacts has grown and we have a huge support base in Australia and America and are humbled by their dedication to assist us and our customers.
Being able to visit our feedlot and see our machinery working is one of the best ways to prove the ability of our items. They won’t be all shiny and clean like at a field day – but it will prove that they can perform. We are not going to sell any new products that we would not choose to use.
We are not just a sales company – we know breakdowns not only occur – but usually occur at impractical hours. Having a reliable back up service is part of our business ethos and we know it is simply not good enough to have to wait for overseas delivery of important parts. We are also available for advice at any time.
